1 Timothy 5:1
Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers.
Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers.
That the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience.
While the women play a supportive role in the church, the men are largely involved in preaching, teaching, shepherding the flock and leading in missions, either in their capacities as a member of the church or as church leaders. However, there are also individuals who make hospital or home visits as an act of love and encouragement, together with their Care Teams or on their own. Worship sermons and Bible class lessons are planned carefully according to themes, topical issues or the books of the Bible, so as to provide spiritual nourishment and insight to both members and non-members.
The men at PP are involved in many areas at the church. Apart from leadership roles, our men are also actively involved in worship, teaching at bible classes, membership care, overseas missions and church related projects.
Men being men, there are also the occasional impromptu activity like coffee sessions and even makan, fishing and golfing trips up north. Our young men are also regularly involved in the christian soccer league.
