We have been supporting Winston Bolt in his mission work in Batam since he was invited to speak at our Church in 1990. Over the years, we have assisted in funding Batam Church of Christ building and Batam Bible College in 1998. The school trains men and leaders from local churches to be preachers and missionaries. These graduates were involved in church planting and development programs in 2000 which covered areas from Batam to Sumatra, Nias, Java, Kalimantan (Borneo), Sulawesi, and Papua New Guinea. Since that time, they have planted over 60 churches in all these major islands.

The Batam work continues to be funded by churches in the USA and we contribute due to our proximity to Batam. This has enabled us to respond more quickly to urgent needs in the past, such as medical emergencies.

Our funding goes towards their efforts in conducting Vacation Bible School in the villages and mission trips for church planting or strengthening congregations and local leaders of churches planted over the years.

We partner with Missions Resource Network to work with their leaders on discipleship training. Ladies fellowship and bible lectures were organized to empower them to serve the needs of the community.
