Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
The annual church camp (now biennially) is the largest church-wide event of PPCOC where typically about 350-400 participants attend each camp and this number continues to grow with every camp.. The camp is designed to provide an opportunity for members to be together and bond with each other in sweet fellowship.
The church camp is a many-splendored thing. On alternate years, the English and Chinese-speaking congregations combine their camps under one roof, with programs tailored for each group. There are also separate activities conducted for the children, youth and young adults. Special favourites at the camp include the prayer walk, missions cafe and durian feasts.
Typically, 15 to 25 overseas campers attend any given church camp. Many are full-time church workers or leaders in their home countries and the camp is a time for them to be refreshed and recharged with great lessons, warm fellowship and to observe the workings of another church. They also get to participate in pre-camp seminars, interact with other overseas campers and local members are given a chance to demonstrate hospitality to the visitors.
Separate Youth Camps and Young Adults Camps are also held for greater spiritual bonding.
Couples’ Retreats are also held to help married couples renew their vows and share their life experiences.
