December Chiangmai Trip

We share with our readers the passion of the Chiangmai team in their own words - without the usual editing.

Dear Henry and Nat,

Thank you for your vision to see this past week come about. It was an awesome experience for everyone involved.

I was reflecting last night upon the powerful praises sent up to God in the middle of the Chiang Mai airport as the PP group was about to depart. It was spontaneous and it seemed to end a tremendous week on a high note for Jesus Christ.

I was also reflecting upon the awesome events that God let us be a part of last week:

1. The Opening Celebration of the New Payap Christian Zone
2. A 3-hour Pray Walk around the ancient wall of Chiangmai
3. Our first visit to Toffy's home after he left the hospital
4. An exciting Cell Group meeting and fellowship afterwards
5. A powerful devotional on the side of Doi Suthep
6. Climbing up to the temple & visiting the umbrella factory
7. Serving - Washing dishes, cleaning tables at food stalls
8. Mowing grass/cleaningstreets in community service
9. Eating and shopping in the Night Bazaar
10. Riding in Trucks all the way up to Baw Gaew
11. Giving to the children in the mountains at English Camp
12. An incredible campfire devotional in freezing weather
13. Strolling through the strawberry fields
14. Feasting at the Lemon Tree restaurant
15. Feasting again at Moo Ga-Ta restaurant
16. Back down to the Night Bazaar
17. Worshipping together - Sean's sermon
18. Aun's baptism into Jesus Christ
19. A great fellowship at the 22 Dec party
20. Our wrap-up session - from the heart
21. And lastly, praising God with all our hearts in the middle of Chiangmai Airport

Wow, now that was a great week. Thank you for making all this possible! Have a great week for our Lord and Savior.

I felt that it is a quality time spending with you guys. I saw love and determination in you all trying to serve the Lord. It was such a great encouragement. You people never complain no matter how much inconvenience, trouble and hardship you all went through. Most of you seem to have so much fun and enjoy all the activities. You all are such a role model to us. Thank you. - Yoo

Thank God for bringing you guys to meet us and sharing many things. Now we learn and know how big the kingdom of God is. I thank God for sending His love through you brethren. His love someday will make the people of the world as one body. God knows all His children. He's all knowledge and creator of all. He will uphold and bless all His children.

I pray that He will lead all you guys from Singapore and one day He will bring you back to meet us again. We love each other because He first loves us, but our love is lesser and will never be compared with His love to us. However, we shall try to follow His footsteps, serve Him till our very last day when we will meet Him face to face with joyful reunion. I put everything in His name and ask for a reunion. I ask in His name. Amen. - Oan Girl

I'm glad that all of you visited us in Thailand. Now, I'm more convinced that God is everywhere all over the world. He is omnipresent. For just a short time together, I really love you guys. I'll surely miss you when you leave. It's a great blessing that we have met. I hope, one day we shall meet again. Thank God for everything. May God bless you. - A+

Thanks to our God who opens the way for us to meet. It was a good plan to spend time together. We saw in you all the determination to serve God. You guys are fun to be with, you are friendly and happy. Your smiles, your laughter in both work, and prayer and play really encouraged us. We have the mind to work for God and others. We have the strength to proclaim the gospel to others more than before. We will spend more time with our local brethren, building up better relationship with each other and God.
We thank you again for coming to visit us. I thank God for you guys. May God bless you. I Cor 3:11-13 - Yutt

I wanted to let you know how much of a blessing it has been to receive your church in Chiangmai. One of the things I enjoyed is watching people. It was great to see some of you stretched beyond your comfort zone and come out to those trials in victory. The symbolism of this trip is also great.
