Brother Charles Cook will be speaking on “Shall We Live in Doubt or Faith?” at our morning worships today. In the evening, brother Johnsten Wee will be speaking on “Phobia” . Let us truly make Sunday the Lord’s Day by focusing on our spiritual welfare.
Our Hearing Impaired had a great session last Sunday teaching our House Helpers the sign language.
Over 15 students have enrolled in the current SIBI course on Old Testament History 1 conducted by brother Charles Cook.
The SPC Bible character series on “Holy People of God” ends this Wednesday at 7:30pm. Our thanks go to brother Cher Yam for teaching the series. Brother Lee Hock will begin a new series on “Small Groups” in September.
Registration for the 2008 Couples Retreat closes today. Get more information and sign up from the team at the lobby.
The monthly youth emphasis worship got off on a good start. We look forward to see it grow in numbers as more of our young people are aware of it. Please uplift brother Basil Chong in prayer as he rededicated to live a more righteous life - in response to brother Alvin’s sermon: “Raising the standards of our faith”.
Members of the church who have been approached by sister Linda Seet for financial assistance are asked to contact any of our elders to see what the church is doing in regards to this matter.
Another major upcoming event is an intercongregational missions seminar conducted by the Missions Resource Network on the 3rd-5th October at PP. Members from Malaysia and Singapore will be part of this event. It is timed before our Annual Missions Sundays for greater impact.
