New Tile Matching Games for the Palm

The colourful Freejongg screenshot
Like many people, I like tile-matching games and cannot think of a better way to waste my time than having 'yet another bash' at it. This week of April, we saw the release of not one, but two tile matching games for the palm. I liken the two as a VW and a Lexus.
First, The VW...
Freejongg is better than most freeware as it is a pretty polished product. Although lacking in sound, it provides a variety of layouts and backgrounds. The graphics are better than some commercial programs of the same genre, ie adaptation of the classic game of Mahjongg Solitaire.
Features includes
320x320 High-res graphics,
support for Palm OS 5
with 15 unique layouts
and 7 Table Backgrounds. If you have a Palm and don't want to shell out $$$ for games like this, here you go...

Now The Lexus...
For under US$10, you can park the VW at the garage and strut your stuff, cruising along on a Lexus with
Gamebox Asia.
Suddenly, we get full screen (ta-dah...), music (ta-dah...) and carefully crafted graphics (ta-dah...)! You know that you are handling a great piece of software, to cherish and treasure for a long time to come. Not only you get a vaste choice of layouts, but variation of different games and game modes as well.
Features includes 3 classic games: Mahjong, Shisen-Sho, and Nagori, over 80 default board layouts and
3 different tile sets. There are 3 modes of play -
Tournament Mode: Test your skills to complete 28 levels of increasing difficulty;
Multiplayer: Challenge a friend to see who can match tiles faster; and
Free Mode: Play the game at your own pace to practice for the Tournament.
For those who enjoy music, like most of PDAmill's stuff, you will find sound tracks (totalling over 15 minutes) by by Jason Surguine, the well-known PDA musician.
Take your pick... and don't blame me if you can't get any work done this week!
