The first Camera with a Touch Screen

i'm not much of a camera buff
so it's not surprising that it has been 2 years
since i upgraded my canon d300 ixus 4mp camera
in fact the reason why i upgraded was i used it so seldom
i can never get used to it

i have heard of the pentax touch screen camera
and sony has recently released the n1 with touch screen also.
i decided to get the pentax after reading readers' reviews
and am not disappointed

it took me less than half an hour to be familiar with the menus
very easy to use
all the icons are extremely large, designed for fat fingers
so no need to use the stylus
- all features are easily accessed
without any buttons to push
or menus to navigate

i sold the 4mp canon for $250 one hour after i posted it at spug.sg
and cough another $250 for this 6mp (not 8mp) upgrade from song brothers.
the sales person threw in a screen protector, extra battery and 1 gig card
not bad
