IPOD NANO:
Can this be a 'Church' device?
early this year i started an ipod photo thread at
spug
with lots of fun and interesting bible stuff posted
this thread.
now there's nano, no bigger than a credit card
that slips easily in the pocket or wallet
with all the ipod photo features
ipod nano can be a useful church tool
the mp3 feature allows you to carry hymns, audio bible and books
the photo feature, illustrated gospel tracts like joy of Christianity
and the notes section, the NT including psalms etc
plus daily devotional readings and all kinds of good stuff
as you can see from the snapshots below
what do you think?
- over 700 songs; 500 photos; 1000 text files...
this 2gig model now retails at $348
with a 24 month no interest deal from harvey norman
it's less than $15 a month with nothing else to buy
unless you want the fabulous bible software, bibleplayer
see how clear photographs can be even on the small screen
here's my joy of Christianity tract running on the nano
here's the goodie - bible on the nano
together with devotionals, my important text files etc
from the bible screen, lets say, you want ephesians
click on the desired book, and you get the chapters
here comes the text - small, but definitely, readable
if your eyes are dim, click on play and hear it instead
or read and hear the text at the same time
here's a shot from a 'where to find help' text file
for me, this 2gig (4gig also available) device more than replaces my 60 gig heavyweight ipod photo, so i've got rid of it already. in case you are interested in the ipod photp,
