Hands on Review of the LG KT610

above is the lg kt610 compared to the nokia e90
as all reviews are comparing it with

here's another shot
sorry for the resolution
- taken with iPhone
then sent by iPhone to facebook
the kt610 runs s60 v3 software
so it is exactly like my old nokias - e61, e61i, e70, e90...
- took me just the morning to configure it to where i want

i've got wallpaper, ringtone
and the standby icons done
2 bibles (niv & kjv), log, calendar, dictionary & pdf
lg unlike nokia, doesnt come with pdf reader
so have to shell US$14.99 for basic pdf+
still, it's money well spent as i can carry around
my church's pictorial membership directory
like i said, got this for my wife
and that's about all she is interested in
btw the joypad is nice for games
but having played with htc diamond and iphone
the small screen is kinda a turnoff
conclusion - really solid phone for the price
compared to the e90
it does everything nokia can do
and since i'm on m1 unlimited data plan
the lack of wifi is no issue with me
i remember taking the e90 to a mission trip in philippines
thinking that i will have everything i need on the go
but because phone signals are rather iffy there
my colleagues with simple nokia phones
did better than me
compared to the htc diamond
i took the diamond on a recent missions conference in india
works like a charm, esp on the free wifi at the hotel
still, touching the screen with the finger
is rather cumbersome
and not really a feel good experience
compared with 3g iphone
smaller, slips into the shirt pocket
more zippy and acts like a real phone
i'm putting the htc diamond on the shelf
installing mapking on the kt610
and will be using it from now on
good stuff
