Hands on First Looks of the Samsung K5 MP3 Player
i probably have more mp3 players than you can shake a stick at
creative oldies, zen, ipod oldies, nano...
and if you include zodiac, ppc, psp and nds...
so why get another?
1. the k5 is the first mp3 to have a decent speaker
i really dont like ear phones
2. it is easy to set up and use anywhere
especially good for the office
so when i was at the retailer
my first impression was that it is smaller than i imagined
- look at the shots above and below
same size as the se k800i; only slimmer
and i really, really liked it
1. small and well built
- but a fingerprint trap (who cares?)
2. the interface is really nice
- i like those neon futuristic icons
3. it simply works
- i really hate the ipod burdensome interface
with the k5, you just plug and play
drag all your photos and mp3 in
and you are set to go.
really lovely (someday all mp3 players will work this good)
4. photo is lackluster, but good to have
- resolution could be better (but who cares?)
5. fm radio is a good addition
- plug in the ear phone which doubles as an antenna
and it works great
6. mp3 part is best
easy navigator
just go to the folders
and play away
volume is good
so are the equalizer features
a good buy for around $300
i'm getting several as gifts for the season
