Hands on Review of the Nokia full keyboard E70 mobile phone

the e70 is the one on the right with my photo
i still keep the one on the left, nokia's first flip open keyboard phone
and it works really good.
i have 2 of the 8620 (middle) - one is faulty and i'm looking for some one who can repair it

actually e70 not yet released in singapore
any set on sale are exported sets
and nokia singapore will charge for everything - even firmware upgrade

the screen is not an issue as fonts are very nice and big and heavy - unlike the e61, really small fonts and light (anyone knows how to adjust it)

the interface is the same as the e61.
all apps works landscape (with keyboard opened) and portrait
some apps runs faster than e61, others slower
really nice device but a little heavy

screen size very funny, so most jar games dont fit but all s60 e3 works really nice

wifi is amazing
i was going to d/l some stuff on my m1 unlimited data ac
then as quick as you can say 'nintendo wi'
the wifi pops out to search
lists an unsecured linksys somewhere
i clicked on it and that stuff was d/l in seconds

i've got worldmate running - what with weather these days
got handy taskman - essential to keep memory free
s60 e3 pdf reader - not the greatest pdf reader around
olive tree bible reader, a couple of bibles
kjv go bible - free and about 50 games, mostly s60 e3 ones

i'm using it as my second phone so dont want to overload or slow down things
like i did for me e61 - 2 gig card is full with a few hundred games and apps

pros for e70
keyboard
sharp bright screen
camera - 2mp
wifi

cons for e70
heavy
bulky
no warranty (yet)
