after enduring my pentax optio t10 for as long as i can
i finally decided to replace it with the Olympus 850sw
- the reason for the upgrade was the difficulty
in getting the pentax to do close-up shots;
so essential to many of my reviews

as you can see above, it's really a good looker
kind of funky; with fun written all over it
- i chose blue because it looks really pretty
especially when i take it to the pool at the church camp

Here is how it looks at the back
i'm glad it's not a touch screen like my pentax
as it can be rather chancey in getting it to react
- the menus are well placed
and so easy to navigate

the selling point for this phone is
its ability to take pictures underwater
- 3 meters is just right for the swimming pool
if you want to take shots scuba diving,
then you need to go for a waterproof casing
as suggested below

while it is a regular point-and-shoot camera
with anti-shake and all that good stuff
- features like panoramic shots and super marco
the thing i like best are the many scenes available

for example, there's this multi-shot scene
that keeps snapping until i find a shot that i really like
- then there is a scene where you can take a picture of yourself
plus lots of mix and matches i have not seen in other cameras

lol, there's even a help mode
that will guide you step-by-step to get the best shots

well, how's the close-up shots
that prompted me to upgrade my camera in the first place?
seeing is believing
- above is a shot of a two dollar bill

now, zoom into it
and what was unseen by the naked eye
is now clearly evident

my cup runneth over
