2005 Youth Open House

Open House 2005, Sunday, 12th June. What a magical night it was.

I say so not because it was the best choral performance I had ever heard. Neither was it because the night progressed without a hiccup. The reason for that magic, is the reason why the youth testimony compilation exists, to serve as a memorial of that night; where more than 200 people were moved by several youths who came forward to share testimonies that came straight from their heart.

A night where tears were shed, hearts were stirred and the angels in heaven must have been rejoicing. Indeed, God’s presence was felt.

As Christians, we are asked to be like mirrors, to reflect God’s glory. I am sure you would agree with me (if you were there), that each of those youths shone like stars in a dimly-lit hall.

It is my prayer and hope that the youths will remember it, and never stop shining and reflecting the glory of God. That they will submit to him, and allow God to mold them and use them, for his Glory. Amen.
